Deb Kayes, Ocean Shores
I love Mary Gardner. The stories she shares with us have enriched my life.
She has so much love for nature. It doesn’t matter what topic Mary writes about, be it sharks, oysters, fish, or estuaries, my perception is expanded and I understand the ecosystem she is describing intimately and its place in the inter-connectiveness of life.
I can love and empathise with oysters! No-one else can make me do that.
Mary’s love of nature helps feed and enrich Mother Earth’s regeneration. Thank you, Mary, for opening our eyes and hearts to the wonders of life.

For four decades The Echo has printed the stories some people loved, some people hated, and some pretended not to read. If you want us to keep telling the truth, the real truth, not the sugar-coated version. We’ll need your support to keep the presses rolling.
