I recently had my granddaughter aged seven visiting from interstate. As we slowly forged our way into Byron the voice from the back says ‘Nan, are we in Paris?’
A bit perplexed I asked her why she thought that.
She replied, ‘I think we just passed the Eiffel Tower’.
I think as a landmark it was also controversial in its day!
