Recently I discovered that Council employs four lawyers and another four people in its media unit. That’s eight professionally-trained truth-benders working arduously to gild the lily.
I have to ask whether the show Emperor, Simon Richardson, is about to step down and pass the baton to his understudy and head-kicker Cr Lyon. Certainly Simon voted for Lyon to become deputy mayor and ignored any obligation to Cr Ndiaye and The Greens. Which is probably why Simon hasn’t dared tune into the last four Greens meetings; The Greens are very angry with him and would no doubt give him a piece of their mind. Simon so hates whingers.
I predict that the move will happen before Christmas. I also predict that when Lyon is mayor I will change his nickname from Cr Wannabe to Cr Faust. Look it up.
