The biggest load of codswallop I’ve seen in recent times: ‘The Cause of the Northern Rivers floods’ by so-called elite university educated Professor Jeff Lewis and obviously his wife Dr Belinda Lewis.
Pure unadultered ultra-left-wing rhetoric straight from the ultra-left Wokism dictionary. Use of words like ‘English invasion’, ‘European invaders’, ‘Militarised hierarchy’, good cancel-culture titles, but no mention of how we are to fix the flooding problem. No mention of the future and enlightened advice – only clouded ideological rhetoric.
We now need practical, enlightened, and experienced advice to governments, local governments, and the general public on how we are to alleviate the pain of another severe flood in Lismore, Ballina, and Murwillumbah and all points in between, and in an urgent manner.
In my 80+ years I’ve seen five of these floods in the area with the first in 1954 and they’re still happening with regularity. Please, no more wasted newspaper columns in our excellent local newspaper. Get to the experts, not armchair left-handed pencil pushers.
