In terms of the economy. Billions of dollars spent on armaments and the supporting structures, at the expense, the sacrifice, of the basic needs for living for Australians.
Most people understand the saying ‘love your neighbour as yourself’. In today’s political climate have the MPs forgotten what the saying means? The actions and expectation of the Australian government does not fit with this saying. One hand promotes the value of the words, the other hand ensures it doesn’t manifest in the nation’s economy. Name and fame and possessing more than others is what the MPs do with the economy. Are weapons and maintaining the fear of others in the population required to be alive?
Doesn’t it all begin when we wake up to another day – weapons are not required for waking up. MPs seem to have forgotten a simple fact of life, and it’s against the law to not vote for them. That is just the tip of the iceberg, of their instructions of how to love your neighbour. A government formed with Independent MPs would be a start in establishing a democratic government.
I’ve always said, voting for them just encourages them.
