I have just discovered the solution to avoid parking fees in Byron Bay.
Simply buy a motorcycle and park on the footpath! Works a treat ! And Byron Council parking officers seem to turn a blind eye, even when they’ve been notified a number of times. Hours later they’re still there. No worries!
