For those who still vote for the major parties it would be interesting to consider how long they themselves might imagine they could hold down a job if they were unwilling or unable to provide transparency or explicit answers to an employer when asked, without insulting or deceitful obfuscation.

Labor’s minister O’Farrell is um.. particularly ah…. astounding and… very…  um… very… experienced when… um it ah… comes… ah… comes… to ah… padding out… um the ah… the… um… question ah… time… until the ah… time has elapsed and ah… no answers um… are given. And taxpayers are footing the bill.

Why would anyone who considers themselves modestly, somewhat intelligent, vote for a government which lacks transparency and claims to be managing the economy while allowing obscene record corporate profits?

  1. Mr Murray, again if you hate a free enterprise western political and economic system to live under so much, go and live in some restrictive communist country, there are a few around. And we just got rid of one the worst deceitful, disgraceful, disingenuous and corrupt Federal Govt in Australia’s history, you seen to be completely oblivious of that fact.

  2. Yep labour betrayed us totally and all the major parties are the same serving big business and screwing over Joe public constantly. That why we need yearly elections to boot out any party that doesn’t look after the public in terms of food clothing electricity housing water transport health etc . Alan Mosley Yamba

  3. Yes Keith and Labor are right up there with them. Any government which supports corporations which pay no tax with record profits and are propping up the US military manufacturing industry, and greed is the dominant paradigm, while thousands are homeless and the environment is an afterthought, could only be supported by brain dead morons. Crawl back under your log Keith and get out of the way, some people still aspire to compassion and justice.

    • As usual a great little incoherent spray Mr Murray, just which political party was elected by a MAJORITY of Aussie voters at the last Federal election?, I wouldn’t have thought there were so many “brain dead” morons in Australia, but of course they probably vote for the wacko Greens. Every day average Aussies wake up and know that there is not a “brain dead” Green Govt in power or even influencing an adult Labor Govt, is a day of utter relief.

  4. If you all intend to vote green you are sadly mistaken. Can you just imagine what a green government would look like?. A very, very scary option.

  5. Keith, this “….just which political party was elected by a MAJORITY of Aussie voters at the last Federal election?”

NO majority of Aussie voters for any party.

    • Nice try old son, trying to deflect any discussion away from the humiliating backdown the Greens were recently forced into by the Labor Govt over the HAFF legislation, but alas, as usual it’s not working, actually it’s like dealing with an incompetent illiterate my poor man, let me try and help (once again), I’ll go slow so as not to confuse you. 50% is an equal amount (half way), 49% is a minority (under half way), 51% is a majority (over half way), The Labor Govt was elected with a 2PP vote of 52.5%, (yes it could have been more,) however it was enough to give the Labor Govt 77 seats in a 151 seat HOR., that is a MAJORITY, and after winning the Aston bi-election and taking a safe Liberal seat of the Coalition opposition, something that hasn’t been done before in recent history, the Labor Govt now has 78 HOR seats, NEWSFLASH that’s a BIGGER MAJORITY. Your welcome my son, but you do need to start helping yourself.

  6. A poll result labor must still be embarrassed about. Good old greens helped them out, you know their bitter enemies. It would be great to have enemies like that.

    • Nice try again Greg but no prize, I’m betting the Liberal party was a whole lot more embarrassed about their abysmal performance at the last election than Labor, who is it again that’s in MAJORITY Govt?
