Exciting news for the 1,000 or so enthusiastic paddlers who come for competition, the dress-up fun, a family outing or showcasing their individual craft – the Mullum2Bruns Paddle returns on May 26!
The annual 10km event is held on the Brunswick River, starting at Heritage Park in Mullumbimby and ending at Banner Park in Brunswick Heads.
Sponsors are currently being sought, so if you wish to support the event, contact Cherie Heale at [email protected].
Cherie says, ‘All monies raised by the Paddle go to Marine Rescue, Surf Life Saving Club and the Brunswick Heads Visitor Centre’.
‘They are all great volunteer organisations working to help make Bruns a better and safer place.
‘You can register through the website www.mullum2brunspaddle.com.au. You can also donate to these worthy causes and purchase merchandise.
‘Take advantage of our early bird specials and register from February 21 until close on April 15.
‘Join as on the day for fun on the water, music and entertainment, kids’ activities, SUP lessons and delicious food from our three food outlets in Banner Park’.
