
Ballina Shire Council will be running two free bike safety workshops during the school holidays on Wednesday 2 October and Wednesday 9 October 2024.
Whether you are an experienced rider and mechanic or new to cycling, come along and have your bike checked over by experts, get some great tips and have your questions answered.
The workshops will provide:
- Bike safety checks (no repairs completed onsite and no parts supplied).
- Basic bike maintenance tips and advice.
- Helmet fitting.
- Laws and etiquette for riding on roads, shared paths and rail trails.
- E-bike rules and.
- Safety for riding with children.

Each session is limited to 30 individual places and will go for approximately two hours. Bring your own bike, along with your safety questions!
