Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on Hinterland Way for slope remediation work, just east of the St Helena Road intersection.
Transport for NSW says work starting Monday 31 March will be carried out weekdays from 7am to 5pm and is expected to be complete by August 2025, weather permitting. Some work may be carried out on Saturdays between 8am and 1pm. There will be no work on Sundays or public holidays.
Single lane, alternating traffic flow arrangements with a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place on St Helena Road 24/7 for the duration of this project.
A westbound slow lane and shoulder closure with a reduced speed limit of 60km/h will be in place on Hinterland Way 24/7 for the duration of work.
Motorists are advised to allow up to five minutes’ extra travel time, drive to traffic conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control. Transport for NSW says it thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
