Sandra Heilpern, just what major social policy has the ‘all accomplishing’ Greens political party, ever delivered by themselves?
The Labor Party, both federal and in NSW has already eased the burden on renters, and enacted the biggest boost to affordable housing in decades, like the fifteen new affordable homes coming to Brunswick Heads courtesy of the Labor government. Thank you Justine Elliott. Sandra, you must have missed that, just like you missed the budget speech.
As for action on climate change, the Labor Party has had to catch up on a decade of lost opportunity because the extremist Greens scuttled Kevin Rudd’s groundbreaking CPRS in the Senate all those years ago, all because it was not up to your purist ideals, finally resulting in giving us Tony Abbott as PM, thank you so much Greens.
The Labor Party has put in motion the biggest transition to alternative renewable energy the country has ever seen, you must have missed that also. As for the Labor Party making gas more affordable and available, the irresponsible Greens have no idea of the political price a government would pay if the country ran out of reliable energy while this difficult transition to renewables is taking place, obviously because your minor party never gets into government, and thank God for that.
Sandra, cheap shots at Justine Elliott for improving access to health care by opening a new mental health facility in Tweed Heads besides the Urgent Care Clinic, just shows what a petty little political party the Greens have become. Maybe people like you should pay much more attention when people of the calibre of Jim Chalmers deliver responsible budgets for all Aussies, you just might learn something.
