Queensland Police say the missing woman and children have been found


UPDATE, MON 28 JULY, 12.30pm: Queensland Police are still seeking urgent help from the public finding missing Gold Coast woman Monique and three young children including an infant.

The woman and children have been missing since 18 July but officers are still going through a court process to determine whether Monique’s last name can be publicised, as well as the names of the children.

QLD Police believe they could be in either the Tenterfield or Byron Bay areas and have asked local media to continue sharing images and their requests for help.

Police in the Tweed/Byron District have been helping with the investigation but were unable to provide comment Monday morning.

EARLIER: Police are seeking urgent assistance to locate three children reported missing from the Gold Coast since July 18.

Police have released images as they continue to search for children. Police have also released an image of 41-year-old Monique, pictured, as inquiries continue to locate her and three children known to her and believed to be with her.

Monique is described as Caucasian, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police have also released an image of the missing 7-week-old baby girl and an image of a white Nissan X-Trail, similar to the vehicle they are travelling in.

Monique is driving a white Nissan X-Trail with Queensland registration 992XPS and is believed be in the Byron Bay area.

Initial reports indicated a 10-year-old girl and 6-year-old boy were last seen near Mirambeena Drive in Pimpama around 8.50am on 18 July. They are both described as Caucasian, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are urging Monique to come forward and contact Policelink on 131 444.

Anyone who may have sighted them or the vehicle is urged to call 000.
