Close to 400 people took part in the annual Chincogan Charge running and walking up Mullulmbimby’s Mount Chincogan on Saturday afternoon. Runners, walkers and volunteers were all glad the rain held off allowing everyone to get up and down the mountain safely. 

Event Organiser Jenelle Stanford said she ‘was really pleased with the event as everyone was so happy and grateful to have the opportunity to run and walk up Mount Chincogan.’

‘I’d like to thank the Byron Shire Council (BSC), NSW Fire and Rescue, BSC mayor Sarah Ndiaye, Sarah Archibald and Jeff Dawson for the photos, The Mullumbimby Ex-Servises Club, The Echo, The Mullumbimby Chamber of Commerce and all the amazing vollies who made the entire event possible.’
