Traffic is currently (3.20pm, 29 October 2025) backing up in both directions on Ewingsdale Road going into and out of Byron Bay due to a car accident on the road.
The accident has taken place on Ewingadale Road between the Bayshore Drive roundabout and the Sunrise Boulevard roundabout, which both access the Byron Arts and Industry Estate.
Police and ambulance are at the scene with at least one person being taken to hospital.
