Nudge Nudge Wink Wink kicks off the new year on Saturday with a high-summer return to the Shed at the Billinudgel Hotel. It’s an afternoon-into-night celebration shaped by music, feel-good mischief and community, setting the tone for the year ahead and bringing people together on the dancefloor for amazing music and even greater causes.
Since 2015, Cunning Stunts has donated more than $445,000 to 41 local organisations, proving that the Northern Rivers knows how to party with purpose.
January’s Nudge features a carefully curated line-up of returning favourites, with both local and international DJs taking their place behind the decks. International DJ Nick Field returns to the Shed from his current locale of Bondi, bringing his signature blend of soulful dubby disco, and house back to the Nudge dance floor. DJ Kylie Rose returns to the Shed from her current home base in Berlin, bringing her unmistakable energy and deep musical intuition back to Nudge. A long-time favourite, Kylie blends disco, tribal rhythms, tech house, breakbeat and techno. Cunning Stunts co-founders and resident selectors, DJs Lord Sut and Dale Stephen, deliver their trademark blends of Balearic, twisted disco, deep house and funk, alongside their own lauded edits. Their sets don’t just fill the Shed, they shape it, creating an atmosphere that is equal parts familiar, euphoric and unmistakably Nudge. Brunswick Picture House joins the celebration with their signature surprises and delights, bringing colour, playfulness and theatrical magic throughout the evening.
Proceeds from both the January and February events will support the Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre (NRCLC), a charity Nudge Nudge Wink Wink is proud to partner with for the first time. NRCLC provides free legal advice and advocacy services to people across the Northern Rivers, supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments.
Saturday from 4pm at The Shed at The Billinudgel Hotel. Tickets: this event is expected to sell out. You can still support Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre by donating via the ticket link: https://bit.ly/Tickets_Nudge_Jan10th
