Dr Richard Gates from Evans Head Residents for Sustainable Development Inc. has pointed out some discrepancies in the sales pitch for the controversial proposed development at Iron Gates, near Evans Head.
Aerial pictures accompanying the latest land advertising show different versions of the land supposedly available for presale.
As Dr Gates notes, ‘In two of the pictures the land boundary has five sides and in the third, six. I tried to line them up unsuccessfully. You would think they would get a fundamental detail such as this correct!’
He says the maps distributed by developers also fail to match up with those from the 2024 Land & Environment Court Judgement Plan, as can be seen below:
