I am furious, my ongoing battle to get the stormwater collapse at Bayside fixed has now shown that the necessary reporting and reports are missing. No wonder nothing is happening and the continuation of more development is allowed to happen.

The shocking revelations are still coming in to me and now having been informed that residents have been asked to go through their insurance companies, because, oh dear we are unable to afford anything, is the message from Byron Shire Council (BSC). This is another way of hiding these issues.

The reports of what Ryan, head of stormwater, had put into a scope of works has not come forward either. Now both Ryan and Sam, who actually did the tour of Bayside and witnessed firsthand the collapse of our stormwater system, are no longer employed by BSC.

Further, the investigation of Bayside via cameras earlier this year, as reported, are not part of investigations of outstanding works needing to be completed.

How many reports are missing? Shire-wide we have been waiting for necessary work to be done. No reports means this is obviously why the most necessary work is never done.

Yes indeed residents, where has all our money gone? It is a now blatantly obvious that we need an administration to come in. Audit of all departments. Moratorium on development. This is the most serious issue.

Annie Radermacher, Brunswick Heads
