Landslip repair works along Hinterland Way, Newrybar will be carried out from today, Tuesday, 17 June, 2025.
The works will take place between 7am and 5pm and are expected to continue until Friday 20 June (weather and site conditions permitting)
Traffic control will be in place at the landslip site, approximately 500m south of the Old Pacific Highway intersection. The road may be reduced to one lane (southbound) if necessary, depending on progress.
The speed limit will be reduced to 40km/h through the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time or consider using an alternative route during this time.
‘We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding during this essential maintenance,’ said Ballina Shire Council.
