Supporter Cherie Baumann has announced a GoFundMe campaign to help get Mullumbimby’s much-loved community cafe Lu Lu’s back open and running again.
Cherie says, ‘Any amount even small is helpful and much appreciated. We estimate the cost of repairs for the hot water system & damages to be approximately $7,500. Outside of this there are still many other expenses that we are still hoping insurance may pay for…
‘As most of you know Shani is a single mum who has worked tirelessly to keep our beloved local community cafe open over the past five years.
‘I personally know Shani to be the one to put the community first. Now it’s time for us support her back,’ says Cherie Baumann.
