No new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSW HD) and the NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has called on the Queensland Premier ‘to have compassion’ for the NSW/Qld border communities.

There were four deaths and 1,116 cases of COVID from of community transmission reported till 8pm in NSW yesterday. There are 917 people in hospital with COVID and 66 are currently requiring ventilation.

The misallocation of public funds to benefit partisan interest, to the detriment of making such decisions based on merit, is nothing new in the state of NSW. However, the blatant justifications of the practice by the current coalition government are something new.
