Elizabeth Lord and Leigh James present a stunning tribute to two of music’s great living legends in their brand-new show, ‘You’ve Got  a Friend – a tribute to Carole King and James Taylor’.

With award-winning songs, such as Fire and Rain, It’s Too Late, I Feel The Earth Move, How Sweet it is (to be loved by you), Mockingbird, You Make Me Feel (like a natural woman), Carolina in my Mind and so many more, the show shares both the music and the history of the King and Taylor success stories.

With great respect for their idols and musical integrity, Elizabeth and Leigh play and sing the music with an obvious underlying love for both the songs and the tradition that they come from. This show is authenticity at its best!

See them at Uki Church Hall, Friday.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
