D2 played the Burringbar Qaratahs side. After a poor first half which resulted in the Mullum side being down 3–1 at halftime the Mudcrabs rallied and played some great hockey to play out a 3-all draw. Man of the match Adam Gadowski scored 2 while his brother Dean scored the equaliser. Brendon Arthur in his debut as goal keeper for D2 was rock solid.

D3 playing against this year’s favourites Kingscliff/Casuarina Pretenders the Mullum men went down 6–0. With some improvement in their positional play the Mullum Mudcrabs side will start to trouble the top teams in the weeks to come.
