As the community debate continues over the operating hours of pubs and clubs in Byron Bay and the related late-night alcohol-fuelled violence, SBS News reported alcohol as the number one cause of intellectual and physical defects in children, in the world.
These effects were reported as being worse than those created by heroin and cocaine, and can last lifelong too. So close up early for a rosier future.
