A 39-year-old woman has been charged over the stabbing of a man during an argument at a home unit in Tweed Heads West yesterday.
Police were alerted after a 41-year-old man was found collapsed outside a unit block on Kennedy Drive about 4pm yesterday after suffering a stab wound to his back.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Tweed Heads Hospital where he is reported to be in a critical condition.
The woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Tweed Heads police station where she was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
She was refused bail and was due to appear in Tweed Heads Local Court today, Sunday.
