Is it mere coincidence that Abbot Point coal terminal expansion got the go-ahead last Friday under the Abbott government?
Along with this, sediment and sludge to be dumped near Bowen and 74,000 hectares of World Heritage forest in Tasmania to be delisted. This government seems intent on destroying natural resources and wildlife, along with marine creatures.
Cutting all spending on the environment and climate change, in these times, seems to be a moronic decision.
What if there is no world left to exploit ? They don’t seem to have factored that in.
