Fifty years ago I owned part of a bank, a railway, a postal service, a water works, etc, etc. I got a job and started paying tax and saving for a home.
Today I own nothing (it has all been sold off, “privatised”) and my children and grandchildren are struggling to find work and have no chance of owning their own home.
Meanwhile, our politicians, CEO’s and industry leaders all have multiple properties and investments in overseas tax havens.
I must be stupid.. because I didn’t think it was supposed to work this way… I tried honesty.. obviously I was wrong.
Is our future headed in the same direction as is the case in the Middle East ? Look what is happening there ! Our tomorrows?
Oppression- including financial/social oppression, eventually, leads to chaos- the second law of thermodynamics will not be denied.
