A 46-year-old man has died in a motorcycle accident near Tenterfield.
The man was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle on Hicks Road, east of Deepwater, about 4.15pm on Wednesday when he failed to negotiate a corner and struck an embankment.
He sustained fatal injuries, dying at the scene.
Police from New England Local Area Command attended and conducted inquiries into the incident.
A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
