Local coach Stephen Gort took out the Mullumbimby Tennis Club singles championships played in late October.
Gort lost just one game on his way to claiming the title against Mitchell Garbler 6–0 6–1.
He backed this up by winning the men’s open doubles with partner Ben Petersen beating Mitchell Garbler and Teva Leibo 6–3 6–2.
In the special singles Peter Brett took three sets to undo Chris Coffee 6–2 2–6 7–5.
In the men’s special doubles Nick Fernley and Chris Graham defeated Peter Dedden and Chris Brooks 6–2 6–1.
In the open boys singles Amadeus O’Connor beat Jatrel Cole 6–2 and Isabelle Vander Hecht beat Tiani Hogan 6–2 in the girls’ singles.
