A bunch of Sydney veterinary students have bared all for the sake of a greyhound re-homing charity.
Over 70 of the University of Sydney veterinary science faculty’s fourth year students have come together to produce ‘Free Range Vets,’ dubbed ‘the cutest nude charity calendar for 2017’.
The students say plight of the greyhound is very close to their hearts so 100 per cent of profits will go to Friends of the Hound Inc, a charity dedicated to caring for and rehoming rescued greyhounds.
Under the direction of esteemed photographer, Tony Potts, the faculty’s fourth year students got closer than ever before with each other and their furry friends – including piglets, horses, bunnies, chicks, lambs, kittens, calves and many more.

One of the organisers of the calendar, Jamie Wildner believes that regardless of the position of the NSW state government, the plight of greyhounds, remains a major concern for animal lovers.
‘Whether you’re for or against greyhound racing, ban or no ban, there will always be sweet greyhound dogs needing a forever home.
‘If we can help, tromping naked through a paddock while trying to wrangle various animals, pieces of farm equipment and stray body parts will be all worth it!’ Mr Wildner said
The students spent two full days shooting the calendar on locations near Camden in Sydney’s west. One morning the temperature dropped to eight degrees.
‘It was bloody cold.’ said Mr Wildner.
University of Sydney Vet Students come from all over Australia with many also from Hong Kong, the USA and New Zealand.
Calendars sell for $25 including Australia-wide postage. The students have already received pre-orders for over 200 calendars.
