Angela Catterns (pictured) will host the Northern Rivers Food Harvest Festival from Friday 5 May till Sunday 7 May.
The opening will be at the newly opened Cape Byron Distillery on a farm with regenerated rainforest, the home of Brookie’s Byron Dry Gin (created by the Brookfarm Muesli producers the Brooks, and Jim McEwan). Non-members $88.
On Sunday morning 8.30am–12.20pm there will be a bus tour of local farms in the Corndale, Bexhill and Numulgi regions. Bus will depart and finish from Clunes Store, Clunes. Non-members $71.50.
Over 12.30–4pm Sunday the festival will wrap up with a communal feast as prepared by chef Francisco Smoje of Francisco’s Table at the historic Clunes Hall. Local food authors will be on hand and the Emily Turner Trio will play. Non-members $107.80.
