After all the rain in recent weeks it was fantastic to see the sun come out for the first weekend of junior / miniroos football down at the Mullumbimby Brunswick Valley Football Club home ground.
With around 20 games taking place the park was filled with good will and hot coffee.
The club’s emphasis in the last season or two has been on female participation and with numbers on the increase it was fantastic not only to see all five female teams playing at home last weekend, but amazingly see all of them come away with victories.
How good does that feel.
The club is indeed very proud of the coaches, players and parents who have all put huge efforts in to get this far.
Go girls!
