The All Girls Surfriders at Lennox Head wrapped up their 24th year of successful operation with their end-of-season presentations and celebrations last week.
‘It has been a fantastic year of surfing, learning, fun, new friendships and old friends all coming together to make up this awesome club of ours,’ club person of the year Jane Collins said.
‘It has been an absolute pleasure to spend the year with all of you and watch everyone take on all of the different conditions that Mother Nature dishes out to us as surfers, some pleasant and some super challenging.
‘I would like to thank the committee of 2017; this club would not be here without your dedication and hard work throughout the year.
‘Lastly I would like to throw a big thankyou out to each and every club member and parent involved; it has been a pleasure and an honour to have met you and surfed with you all throughout the year. This club would not be the club it is without each of you,’ she said.
