Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) had to perform a winch rescue on a 14-year-old boy who it’s believed suffered a medical condition while walking on the Mount Warning (Wollumbin) track on Tuesday (June 26).
A spokesperson for WRHS said that the boy had been successfully winched out and airlifted to Tweed Hospital.
His condition at this stage is still unknown.
