If there is something positive going on, as claimed by Cr Michael Lyon (Letters, August 7) in relation to the Council motion that any company that has links to Adani is not eligible for Council business, then Council will have already written to GHD advising them of this motion.The purpose of the motion is surely to discourage companies from working for Adani, rather than merely punishing them afterwards.
I have written to GHD about this Council motion, and I hope Council has too. I will ask them this in Public Access at the August 22 meeting.
