Lester Prowze, Huonbrook
Once upon a time… in Byron Bay. You go to the movies and you get charged $15 to get your car out of the most expensive parking place in Byron Shire, which is under the cinema and Woolies.
The movie was three hours long with the ads. Who knew? We must have been 15 minutes over the free-parking limit. So it’s a dollar a minute! The cinema staff could have given us a heads-up. The ‘manager’ of the cinema says, that it’s nothing to do with them (ie no refund); take it up with the parking company.
If I could be bothered I would probably be told there is a note somewhere and it’s my fault for not seeing it… It’s a stacked deck, cop it sweet! It was a good movie but the aftertaste ruined it!
