Paul Stephen, Yamba

Will Ash denounces The Echo for being pro-vax (9 July). The Echo is just being pro-science, and supporting the community through this scourge.

Then he states the vaccines are ‘poison’. Will he now write in and give us the peer reviewed science to support that claim?

Then he mentions ‘rights’. Well, we have rights too, that is the right to feel safe in our community and not be threatened by anti-vax zombies.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. The thing about the anti vax crowd is to just ignore them. This is because they are idiots. And they have been idiots for a very long time. Completely ignore them and go about your business.

  2. Renamed & borrowed. “The Good. The Bad. The Ugly.” Reminds me of Trump’s followers
in paradise. Crocked Government & no time for the aged, young & already ill from the
    cross-over denialists.

  3. I doubt anyone would be too interested in hearing what a person who has repeatedly been show to be incorrect has to say. Here’s an example:

“While Britain was still in its first lockdown last spring, he declared: “there is nothing especially virulent or frightening about covid 19 … it’ll all fade away … Just a common & garden virus, to which the world overreacted.” And he predicted in a subsequent tweet that it was “unlikely” the death toll in the UK would reach 40,000.”

UK covid deaths are currently over 129,000. Looks like he really knows his stuff

A couple of links with more info on his ideas:

    • What Fact Checkers and Debunkers describe as a ‘former Pfizer employee’ was ‘former Vice President and Chief Science Officer’…………. and if you are willing to believe Fact Checkers and Debunkers are honest brokers………… then might as well also believe in fabricated numbers.

It’s not only Dr Mike Yeadon…………… hundreds of medical scientists have sounded alarms…….. your media is either silent or attacks.

There can be only One Reality and it is to be Totalitarian.

      • Yep, it’s much better to believe someone (Dr Mike Yeadon) who has made a whole bunch of predictions that have all turned out to be a load of bollocks. That’s the way we do real research and science.

There can only be one reality it it doesn’t really care what either of our opinions is

  4. People who bang on about their “rights” to ignore or flout COVID precautions are the same people who refuse to recognise that every right comes with attendant responsibilities – to themselves and to others.

If you want to flout the precautions, do so in your own space at home, not in spaces you share with other members of the public!

  5. The mRNA vaccine inventor Dr. Robert Malone shared a thread saying: the most-vaccinated countries in the world are experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases, while the least-vaccinated countries are not. “This is worrying me quite a bit,”

  6. Think about the fact that about 97% of intensive care patients in the USA are unvaccinated and 97% of related deaths are unvaccinated. In nsw 42 out of 43 in intensive care are unvaccinated and most of the deaths are of unvaccinated persons. That stat should be making you think not the quote by Steven which has no factual backing. No conspiracy here it’s a pandemic, so suck it in and make the choice.
