Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on outstanding warrants.

Joshua Coonan, 34, is wanted by virtue of outstanding warrants in relation to alleged child sex offences.

Mr Coonan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, with a fair complexion and brown hair.

As part of enquiries, police have received information that Mr Coonan may be working as an arborist in the State’s Northern Rivers area, particularly around Mullumbimby. He has also been known to frequent the Central Coast area.

Mr Coonan may be driving either a white 2007 Mitsubishi Canter ‘tipper’ truck or a black 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.

As officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District continue to conduct inquiries into Joshua Coonan’s whereabouts, they are urging anyone who may have information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
