Poilice say a man has died following a fatal crash at Rappville yesterday.
Officers from Richmond Police District say that at about 8.30pm (Friday, November 19), emergency services were called to Carwong Road, Rappville after reports of a crash.
Police have been told a Toyota Prado left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle – a 61-year-old man – was treated at the scene by witnesses and emergency services, however, could not be revived.
Officers from Richmond Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
