Food and drink event, Savour The Tweed, returns to excite tastebuds this spring, from Wednesday 22 October to Sunday 26 October.
Co-curated by Tweed-based chef and author Christine Manfield and local food advocate Amy Colli, they say the event brings an expanded program of 35 events that “not only taste good, but have connection at their core”.
They say the connection “is the important link between farmers and chefs, to deep respect for First Nations storytellers and the joy that comes from sharing delicious and carefully prepared food and drink with friends and family”.
“This year, expect more of everything, including dynamic collaboration events between Tweed food heroes and familiar culinary names, including proud Bundjalung chef Mindy Woods, chef Martin Boetz of Brisbane’s Shortgrain Restaurant, Spanish chef Frank Camorra of Movida in Melbourne and popular author and television presenter Belinda Jeffrey, along with The Tweed’s very own Christine Manfield.

“Book early for this celebration of local provenance, with delicious food and drink events that highlight fresh-grown goodness while showcasing The Tweed’s remarkable culinary scene – from grass-roots growers and makers to award-winning chefs and restaurants.
