Amber alert for blue green algae at Lake Ainsworth

Blue green algae status in Lake Ainsworth currently is Amber level and investigations into the causes and increased sampling will be in place.

The only thing Morrison took to Glasgow besides an overly inflated ego and his marketing ability was a blue book with ‘plan’ written on it, (nobody knows what it actually is), and a planeload of bullshit. The only ‘plan’ the coalition has ever had regarding climate change has been to do nothing while egregiously instilling fear into Australians that the cost of electricity and the price of necessities will become exorbitant, and everybody will lose their jobs [if we ‘go renewable’].

It’s a complete travesty and injustice that this appalling government has survived for nine years. Tony Abbott’s contribution was to brand anthropogenic climate change as ‘crap’ and to foolishly repeal Labor’s highly successful Carbon Tax.

Morrison’s big stunts were to childishly brandish a lump of coal in Parliament singing its praises; and infamously telling us that electric vehicles will ‘destroy the weekend’.

This sudden policy backflip by Morrison is no more than a devious political fix to attempt to steal another election, and an implicit admission that they have shamelessly lied to us voters for a decade for expedient political gain. What Australia is definitely lacking and desperately needs, is a government – and especially a PM –that doesn’t lie their way from one disaster to another, and above all, that can actually be trusted.

  1. Yes keith electricity prices will go up
Significantly and 10s of thousands of jobs
Will be lost directly or indirectly if this Net
    Zero emmisions rubbish continues..

    Trusted you say Keith ?
So may i refresh your memory…
How much will it cost the taxpayer’s
for labor’s energy policies MR SHORTEN??
There never was a answer to that question
    was there Keith ??

    • Barrow my man, you right about this Net Zero emissions rubbish, your President ScamMO and his offisider re-Joyce Governemnt truly believe it is all rubbish, that’s why they doing their best to delay the phase-down/phase-out of fossil fuel burning. What’s this about the costs of Mr Shorten’s energy policies. It’s not a cost it is an investment and the question has recently been been answered, by The Business Council of Australia in their recent call for a cut in emissions of 45% by 2030…the cost Barrow…every Aussie on average $5000 better off per year / GDP boosted by $890billions / 200,000 extra jobs by 2070. How we going so far?

  2. Barrow back to your burrow. Rehashing same old crap from our illustrious duo of Morrison and Joyce. How much will it cost if we do nothing, check with farmers who are bearing much of the cost , floods, drought and fires to name a few issues.
Actually if you check renewables are pushing prices down but if we stop subsidies to coal and gas, prices will continue to drop and no hidden taxes like paying companies not to complete, that money comes from taxpayers not some miracle made by Tories.
