‘The fundamental cause of the trouble,’ he wrote, ‘is that in the modern world, the stupid are cocksure while...

In the face of a real threat to public health, provoking fear and panic in the population by exaggerating the risk is the last thing that competent, responsible authorities would do. And yet this is exactly what I believe we’ve seen since March last year, under the rubric of responding to COVID-19.

This radical departure from rational behaviour by state actors scarcely rates a mention in the corporate controlled media, which has actively promoted the fear campaign and its accompanying mass vax agenda.

The mask farce, which doesn’t completely protect against flu-like illnesses, but effectively impairs verbal and non-verbal communication, is emblematic of the antisocial, dehumanising, fear-promoting ethos that animates Cult Covid. The imposition of lockdowns, social distancing, mask mandates, mass surveillance, vaccine passports, these are the hallmark of tyranny, an affront to freedom and democracy.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Your calling it a “mask farce ” is emblematic of your lack of concern for the vulnerable . Nobody ever said masks were 100% effective . They reduce risk … Dramatically . With antisocial folk like yourself asserting your individual rights this pandemic has a long time to go yet .

    • Hi Dave,
I found a somewhat mischievous example of a people slowly emerging out of mass psychosis:
The Postma retail car company in Damwâld (Friesland, The Netherlands) has sent a letter to its customers to inform its customers that it will not participate in what it says is a ‘non-functioning mouth muzzle’ and has found a very creative solution to circumvent it.
      The letter states the following:
      “Dear customer of Autobedrijf Postma,
As of December 1, the mouth muzzle obligation has been introduced for public buildings. Our company is accessible to ‘shopping’ public, because we have a showroom and therefore it is a public building.
From December 1st, I declare that I am no longer a public building and you are not allowed to enter our premises just like that.
You can open the door and call us with the signal ‘HELLO’. We will then make an appointment with you. Maybe you are lucky and you have an immediate chance of an appointment 😉
You don’t have to wear a ‘non-working mouth muzzle’ with us for that reason!
We do not participate in behaviour-changing experiments. If you do want it on, we ask you to disinfect your hands for our safety, because these muzzles are a source of bacteria.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation,
      “Team of Autobedrijf Postma”

  2. We are being tyrannised by a virus, a force of nature!

Amazing perspective here! The “behaviour by state actors” largely kept us free of the worst of the suffering this virus imposed across the globe. Let’s be grateful the feds weren’t in charge! Far from “scarcely [rating] a mention in the corporate controlled media” the more right-wing press sources waged a constant war on any suggestions of constraints on capitalism – especially by Labor states. It was anathema to the likes of the IPA with their short sighted survival of the fittest, devil take the hindmost philosophies. Just take a look now at the caliber of the NSW premier who’s itching to let it rip!

Masks are a pain but I don’t care to strike up that many conversations while shopping and in the cinema it’s inconsiderate to other patrons to converse. Where you normally socialise – restaurants, pubs – you don’t need to wear a mask while eating or drinking. The fuss is all so overhyped and nauseatingly precious and paranoid.

  3. My RN friend of 30 years who is continuing ‘the jabs’… says she has no time for those
who speak absolute rubbish. I’d call it a split-tongue – that is until the ICU makes room
    for the non-believers.

    • Hi Rod,
The 24/7 rubbish propounded by the the Covid Cult leaders since March 2020 has led to mass formation phychosis according to the inventor of mRNA technology, Dr Robert Malone. Mass formation is a severe form of hypnosis leading to the worst possible outcome, namely a tyrannical government. The constant changes of the covid rules is nothing but Pavlovian obedience training, much like the way animals are trained by reward and punishment. So-called covid-deniers are blamed for the ills of the vaxxed. The vast majority of people had mild symptons from covid in 2020 and beyond and are now protected by their own immune system. We, the great unvaxxed feel sorry for the vaxxed, because their immune system is now compromised and the vaccine is losing whatever effectivemess it had in the beginning of the outbreak very quickly, leading to an endless application of boosters shots for a pandemic that was no worse that a medium flu season (there were no excess deaths before the vaccine was rolled out in late December 2020. “Omicron” is an anagram of “Moronic”.That just about sums it up for the vaxxed. Even so, I retain some vaxxed friends and move efforlessly amongst them without getting sick when they get re-infected as many of them do. Natural immunity is up to 27 times more effective than vaccination!

  4. One question… if war broke out tomorrow & the Great Southern Land was under fire
who would stand up to defend it? Not those who believed it was ‘just an image’ in
    some dude’s head I’d guess.
