There were 118 new cases in the Northern New South Wales Local Health District to 8pm last night, December 26.
11 of those cases are being treated in hospital, with 3 of those in the ICU.
The new cases were located in the following LGAs.
• Ballina 16
• Byron Shire 57
• Clarence Valley 19
• Lismore 18
• Tweed Heads 8
People are being urged to get tested for COVID-19 at the first sign of symptoms and isolate until a negative result is received.
All Northern NSW hospital testing clinics are operating under usual operating hours over the holiday period.
