Having fun in the Playground

Playground is a well-established event that will go off at Coorabell Hall on Saturday. For over two years, three long-term local DJ’s – Pob, Curly Si and Halo – have been curating this rhythmic happening. Their pedigree is assured and they guarantee the best underground electronic music and a loyal crew that bring a big-hearted vibe. On Saturday they’ll be bringing the dance to the hills.

They made a big effort to stop the pandemic, yet the virus did not destroy any country. Yet if we allow our enemy to put a military airfield on a nearby island, within easy striking distance of us, then that could indeed potentially destroy Australia as we know it; just as the white man took Australia away from the wonderful, Indigenous people.

Elsewhere; anyone who doubts that the US is currently on a course to not only replace President Vladimir Putin but also to crash the Russian economy is delusional. In a truly unbelievable statement, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, said on Twitter, ‘This war will be won on the battlefield’. To achieve that, the US has given more than 13 billion dollars while the ‘European Peace Facility’, has pledged lethal weapons valued roughly at one billion Euros. Clearly this is now a proxy war between the wholesale prices in Germany rose at a record pace in March, jumping by 22.6 per cent  year on year, so a rate of 25 per cent here, in two years time, seems quite reasonable, especially in view of continually increasing, global supply constraints.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Anyone making and selling weapons would be doing pretty good now. I bet the price has gone up for a rifle , gun, cannon , tank Etc.. Good business .. War . …. Who cares about the people on the ground . …. Collateral damage . All factored in by an accountant . The profits outweigh the blood and flesh and bone . Heartless .. And oil and coal ,, gone up considerably . So who’s got the most to gain by having a war to distract us from Greta and her mates. Keep protesting for climate . They don’t like that . 26 million for 6 howitzers , that’s over 4 million for each.. How many solar panels on schools and libraries would that be. Or big wind turbines .. It’s a waste. No wonder the planet is overheating . To much greed..

  2. It is delusional to believe or make someone believe that anything other than decisive military force and economic sanctions will prevent the occupation and/or destruction of Ukraine by Russia. What advice have the self-proclaimed ‘peaceniks at any price’ to offer to a beleaguered Europe? Bashing Nato as the supposed real culprit proves just being in lockstep with Putin’s propaganda machine.

    • So those sanctions have caused half of the worlds population to switch from the Swift system to China’s new international settlement system, this is making Russia rich and causing inflation to start sky rocketing in the west.

NATO had an agreement with Russia at the end of the cold war not to move NATO any closer. All the countries up to Ukraine are now NATO and Ukraine tried to join. If you think this is OK, then you have no problem with China building a big military base in the Solomon Islands and placing tactical nukes and their sixth pacific fleet right near our shores.

If we attack the Solomon Islands first, does that me we just want to kill the Solomon Islanders? Does it mean we are trying to conquer the world? Or are we trying to prevent a superpower from putting it’s military on our border to threaten us with whenever they want something from us.

Bashing Russia as the supposed real culprit proves just being in lockstep with Biden’s propaganda machine.

I’ll just point out that Russia has an unlimited defense pact with China and India. All three are nuclear powers, all three have intercontinental missiles. If you are getting ready to nuke your enemies cities, the first thing you do is move you army back. Finland is joining NATO on June 16, figure it out.

So Reinhard, here’s your riffle, here’s your day glow orange jump suit left over from the US torture centres in the Middle East, watch your head getting into the cargo plane, and I’ll call Uncle Putin and tell him your coming to kick his A** all by yourself and that the Multi-polar coalition should point it’s nukes at you, instead of Australia and Europe.

I would suggest on the flight you watch Oliver Stone’s documentary “Ukraine Revealed” just so you know what you are stepping into. It’s free all over the net cause he’s a big Hollywood producer that doesn’t need to make money anymore, but he does want to stop the world from being destroyed.

Notice that I never said Putin was a good guy? The real world is not a cartoon, it’s complicated, it’s not white hats verses black hats.
