A man has been charged following an investigation into an alleged break and enter at Casino.

Officers attached to Richmond Police District commenced an investigation after receiving reports of a break and enter into a Casino train depot just before 6am on Saturday 14 May 2022.

Following inquiries, a 50-year-old man was arrested at Kyogle Police Station about 11am yesterday (Tuesday 28 June 2022).

The man was charged with Break, Enter & Steal value <=$60,000 and destroy/damage property <=$2000.

He was refused bail to appear before Kyogle Local Court the same day.

He remains in custody and is set to reappear at Casino Local Court on Friday 9 September 2022.
