The federal opposition sure has a hide accusing Labor of lying. It was John Howard who introduced the concept of ‘core ‘ and ‘non-core’ promises, an idea so outrageous that no one has ever tried to use it again.

Are they also hoping that we have forgotten Tony Abbott’s guarantee of ‘no cuts to health, no cuts to education, and no cuts to the ABC’? All of which were dishonoured in Joe Hockey’s 2014 budget.
