The free Save Wallum photography exhibition and information session will be taking place tonight at the Brunswick Picture House in Brunswick Heads.

Starting at 4pm the family event will have a range of speakers talking about the importance of preserving Wallum Heathland that is currently designated to be developed into a 124 residential lot housing estate featuring, three medium density lots, and supporting infrastructure.

There will be a sausage sizzle, drinks and calendars for sale of Wallum in various stages of beauty of Wallum Heathland.
Photographers exhibiting are Beverley Callow, Nola Mancy, Mark Seiffert, and Mac Maderski who have all photographed the Wallum Heathland and it’s rare and endangered plants and animals.

Following the recent fires between Byron and Brunswick Heads locals said they have spotted a significant number of the endangered black cockatoos at the site.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this family friendly event and explore the wonders of the Wallum Heathland from 4–8pm.
