Fire and Rescue NSW say they attended commercial premises in Fingal Street in Brunswick Heads after reports of an electrical fire at 4pm yesterday afternoon.
A spokesman said, ‘Our firefighters arrived on scene a short time later and entered wearing breathing apparatus to find a small electrical fire within several cables in a section of the building. Firefighters switched off the power and the fire self-extinguished.
‘Firefighters worked to clear smoke in the building to allow contractors and business owners to re-enter.’
