Three teens have been charged following an investigation into property-related offences in Goonellabah.
On Friday, 15 March, police were notified of a break and enter at a property on Philip Street, Goonellabah.
Following extensive inquiries, police from Richmond Police District attended a Goonellabah property about 11.15am on Monday, 18 March. There they arrested two boys, aged 13 and 14, over the alleged property-offences, as well as a 15-year-old boy for an alleged breach of bail.
The younger boy was charged with breach of bail, and aggravated break and enter dwelling etc. in company steal.
The 14-year-old boy was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal, and armed with intent commit indictable offence.
Both appeared before a children’s court where they were formally refused bail to appear before a children’s court on Friday, 5 April 2024.
The older boy was charged with breach of bail and was refused bail to appear before a children’s court yesterday, Tuesday, 19 March.
