Angels Beach Drive, East Ballina is expected to be close until 3pm today.

Angels Beach Drive, East Ballina has been temporarily closed due to a broken water main just north of Prospect Bridge.

The leak started today at 10.02am and repair are currently underway. One lane has been closed for emergency repairs from 10.30am this morning and will remain closed until approximately 3.30pm today. 

Traffic control is in place with a detour via the Coast Road to avoid the area.

Ballina Council has said to expect delays, and that there is a reduced speed limit (40km/h) and advised drivers to plan your journey to avoid the area if possible. Angels Beach Drive, East Ballina temporarily closed today.
