Police have confirmed that a truck clipped powerlines today on Dawson Street, Lismore.
At the time of the incident people reported sounds like a ‘shot’ being heard.
Police were notified at approximately 1pm in relation to the incident and confirmed that a truck had clipped some powerlines and didn’t stop.
‘It would have caused some loud bangs when the lines came down. There were no injuries or other damage,’ said a NSW Police spokesperson.
